Carter meets her with patience, devotion, and a work ethic that anchors every plan they set in motion. We have reserved a room block at the Hampton Inn in Blue Ridge, Georgia for our wedding weekend. The official block dates are Thursday and Friday, and guests can use our group rate for those nights. Since we have wedding events taking place daily beginning Tuesday and continuing through Saturday, we encourage guests to take advantage of the extended group rate if they would like to join us for more than just the main celebration. The hotel is allowing our discounted rate to be extended up to two days before and two days after the block dates. This means you’re welcome to book as early as Tuesday and stay through Sunday at the same rate, subject to availability. Our Wedding Week in Blue Ridge

Since many of us will be traveling into the mountains for the wedding, we’re planning to make a full week out of it. Beginning Tuesday, we’ll have different activities happening each day leading up to the wedding on Friday, and continuing through Saturday. The goal is to spend meaningful time together beyond just the ceremony. Throughout the week, we’re planning to go tubing in Blue Ridge, ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, explore downtown Blue Ridge and its shops and restaurants, and visit the Blue Ridge Adventure Park for those who want something more active. Some gatherings will be more structured, others will be casual and spontaneous. Nothing is mandatory, but everyone is welcome. Saturday will be a slower day to reset, possibly with a casual brunch before departures and goodbyes.We’re looking forward to turning this into more than a wedding day, but a shared week in the mountains.

We invite you to dress in elevated semi-formal attire suited for an evening celebration in the North Georgia mountains. The setting is rustic and refined, with warm wood, open air, and layered textures, so think polished with an earthy edge.Flowing dresses, long gowns, tailored jumpsuits, and structured suits are all welcome. Rich jewel tones, muted earth tones, weathered neutrals, and deep, moody hues will complement the mountain backdrop beautifully. Fabrics with movement and texture such as chiffon, satin, silk, velvet, lace, or structured suiting photograph especially well in this setting.Please avoid jeans, bright white, or overly casual pieces. Choose something elevated, comfortable, and celebration-ready that feels intentional and fits the atmosphere of a mountain evening gathering.

Dress Code

Because our venue has limited space, we are only able to accommodate our immediate family and children who are traveling for the celebration. The number of guests listed on your RSVP reflects these restrictions. If your name appears with a single guest spot, we kindly ask that you honor that count, as exceeding it becomes both a space limitation and a safety concern in the mountains. We truly look forward to celebrating with everyone who can be there.
